Holland Village, Singapore

This is a true village, not like the France Village in Bukit Tinggi, which is built by Berjaya. This village is totally different form our France Village.

Although is a true village, but does not look like village at first sight. Beside the landmark, wind mill, all the other buildings are not much different from other part of Singapore. Ones have to be there to get the feel of Holland. People around here are more relax and walk slowly, not like in Orchard. The combination of all this make Holland Village unique.

Song of the Sea, Sentosa, Singapore

The theater is located near the beach. There is a row of Malay style traditional fishing village opposite the theater. The show begins with a lady looks unhappy and sad, then she is disappearing from the scene. This lady is a visual projection from the fishing village. On the beaches, there are about 5 to 6 villagers (real people!). These performers are main characters in this show, they sing and dance to bring up the story lively. The most spectacular part of the show is the visual effect projected from the fishing village. There is a big screen make form water sprinkles in the centre of fishing village, another two smaller screen on both side. These three screen display impressive visual effect to compliment the story. The story is about how the villagers find the lady. There have to go through a few tests. The whole show is very colourful and lively, outcome from combination of water, fire, sound, fireworks and lighting.

Christmas in Orchard Road, SG

This is Orchard Road, every where is people, the whole street is full of people. The Christmas decorations is beautiful.

There is a Christmas parade with about ten decorative vehicles. Every vehicles come with a theme related to Christmas.

Rainy Day in Batu Cave

First view of Batu Cave. Maybe due to raining, not many people coming. Still can see most part of the step leading to the temple. The giant golden statue was just completed, during my last visit they are still working on it.

Just after finishing all the steps, we can see this and the following statues.

Further inside the cave, we can go to a temple at a higher level. The rock formations surrounding the temple is unique.
